Veritas is Egypt's only competitive debate league for junior high and high school students — a social enterprise built on the belief that every young Egyptian deserves access to world-class intellectual training.
To serve Egyptian students by providing competitive debate training and tournaments, and by building a debate community grounded in the intellectual virtues.
Veritas, Virtus, Victoria — Truth, Virtue, Victory — is not just a tagline. It is the standard we hold ourselves and our students to in every round, every tournament, and every decision we make.
Bryan Cory is the founder of Veritas Egyptian Debate League. A Harvard Law School graduate, corporate attorney, and experienced debate coach, he built Veritas to give Egyptian students access to world-class intellectual training. His work centers on disciplined argumentation, ethical leadership, and forming a debate culture grounded in truth, virtue, and excellence.
We are grateful to our community sponsors whose support makes the Veritas league possible.
We train students, coaches, and judges in an internationally recognised format that develops structured argumentation, critical thinking, and persuasive communication.
Whether you're a parent, student, teacher, or administrator — we'd love to hear from you. Reach out and let's start the conversation.
